We have 2 ways to do hard reset your BlackBerry Dtek device. But first, you should know that this process will erase all your info. So make a copy of your photo, video, contacts, and other important info. You can make a backup to your sd card. Don’t forget to get out your sd-card and Sim card if there is any info.
Hard Reset BLACKBERRY DTEK 50/60 by Menu:
- Make sure the battery is >50%
- Turn on your smartphone
- Don’t forget to backup all important data
- Go to Menu > Setting > System> Advanced > Backup & reset > Reset Options >
- Choose to Erase everything to continue and Confirm
- May ask pin or password if set
Hard Reset BlackBerry DTEK50/60 by button:
- Turn off your smartphone
- Press and hold at the same time: Volume Up + Power button, until you see the BlackBerry logo.
- Then select from the Recovery Mode menu “wipe data/factory reset” using the Volume buttons to navigate and the Power button to confirm.
- Select “Yes — delete all user data” to confirm the whole operation.
- After that select the option “reboot system now”.
