All these models are similar but have some little difference. But hard reset is the same in all versions. Hope you copy your data from the device because it will delete all your personal information (photo, contacts, video, etc..) The best way to save your info is to use Sync Google or Samsung service.
Samsung j3 factory reset by using Menu
- Unlock your phone
- Go to Menu
- Find Settings
- Press Back Up and RESET
- Factory Data RESET
- Reset Device
- Delete ALL
These steps will return to your phone’s new life. It will work like a new one.
2nd Samsung j3 hard reset
If for some reason you can’t do a factory reset by using the MENU — you can use this method.

your battery need to be >30%

if your device not respond press Power button for 10 seconds or take out battery.
- Press Vol Up + Power + Home Buttons together for 5-8seconds
- You will see a blue screen menu.
- Use the Vol UP/Down button to choose
- Use the Power button to select
- Select Wipe data/factory reset
- Select Yes Delete all user data
- Wait until you see this — Data Wipe Complete
- Select Reboot System Now
