Fitbit Ionic — smartwatch and fitness tracker at the same time, which will become your personal trainer in the fight for a healthy body and an ideal figure.
The Fitbit Ionic is a new smartwatch from the popular fitness tracker company. Unlike its predecessors, the Ionic is a complete smartwatch, with built-in GPS, music storage, and even contactless payments.
While this makes it a more complete product, it also comes with some trade-offs. One of the biggest is that the Ionic lacks the intelligence of other smartwatches on the market.
It doesn’t have nearly as many apps as the Apple Watch or Samsung Gear, and its voice-controlled assistant is much less robust. As a result, the Ionic feels more like a fitness tracker with some smartwatch features than a true smartwatch. That said, it’s still a great option for those who are looking for a well-rounded fitness tracker.
If you’re having trouble with your Fitbit Ionic and it’s running slowly or hanging, it’s likely because the device is full. One way to fix this issue is to do a factory reset, which will erase all data and return the Ionic to its original state. This procedure will also ensure that no one will be able to access your accounts or passwords if you sell or give away the Ionic. Firstly try to do the soft reset if it does not help then do a hard reset.
Soft reset Fitbit Ionic
- Press the buttons on the back and bottom for 10 seconds.
- Release the button when the Fitbit logo appears on the screen.
- Your smartwatch will now reboot.
Factory reset Fitbit Ionic
- Open the Settings on your Fitbit.
- Press About and then Factory settings.
- Clear All personal data and apps
- Confirm your choice.
- Your smartwatch will now reset and your data will be erased.
- After resetting you will need to set up your device again as a new one.
