How to access the Factory Settings menu on TELEFUNKEN LCD TV?

Hi my Telefunken 39 inch lcd tv does not switch on. The screen stays black, it just went black out of the blue while I was busy watching a program. At the bottom of the screen it has a red light indicating that it is infact on or off.
Problem that i have at this moment is I don’t have a remote control for the Tv I switch it on using the standby button on the ritgtside back of the screen. At the moment i used the reset option of unplugging the power and pressing the standby button holding it for 15 seconds. When i plug the power supply in the red light goes on and as I press the button at the back of the screen it goes off showing the TELEFUNKEN as it would when it’s on but very dark almost impossible to see. When i press the source button above the standby button it shows the source options also very dark almost impossible to see. Taking the HDMI option as I have it connected to the Tv the screen stays black. How can i fix this problem myself cause taking it in for repairs recently cost me R2000 to fix after finding out that I can sort it out myself.
